Animal sponsorship is a program of the Great Bend Zoological Society. The Society is a non-profit organization designed to carry on general charitable, educational, and public benefit work for developing and improving the Great Bend - Brit Spaugh Zoo.
Each year the Zoological Society raises funds to improve exhibits beyond what the yearly budget allows and to provide the "extras," like toys for enrichment. Animal sponsors contribute directly to improvements for all the zoo's animals.
Sponsorships are a fun way to supports the zoo and make a difference in the lives of our wild residents. They make wonderful and unique gifts: Armadillo for an anniversary, Bears for a birthday, Chinchillas for Christmas, Geckos for Graduation.
